Bachelor Nation fans saw Kylee Russell find love with Aven Jones on Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” and the two were going strong after filming wrapped.

A few days after the finale aired, Kylee took to social media and revealed that her relationship with Aven “dissolved due to multiple infidelities.”

Now, Kylee is speaking out for the first time since their breakup on former Bachelor Nick Viall’s podcast, “The Viall Files.”

She started off by sharing that she and Aven never met before the show and just had a flirty back-and-forth on social media where they would like each other’s posts.

It wasn’t until after their first date in “Paradise” that they became an established couple, and even though they left the beach on different pages, Kylee said, “Aven and I, yes, we did have problems in our relationship. Everyone does. But when it came to ever thinking he would cheat on me, absolutely not. I truly felt as though he loved me.”

When watching the show back, Kylee revealed that she now saw a disconnect between her and Aven and felt like she liked him more than he liked her.

Kylee told Nick, “It was almost like he was there for a vacation with his friends. He was spending more time with the guys than he was with me, but that was only in the beginning. As the weeks progressed and our relationship became stronger, I could tell he was all in on me.”

And as for her pressure to get engaged on the show, Kylee clarified that she wasn’t necessarily looking to get engaged on the show as much as she was hoping for real commitment from Aven to “push” them as a couple to “work through the hardships.”

So when they got back from filming the show, Kylee shared that she spent the Fourth of July in San Diego with Aven.

And then two weeks later, he cheated on her while out with other Bachelor Nation members, but Kylee said she had no idea at the time.

Then once the show finished airing and they went public with their relationship in December, Kylee said she checked her “hidden requests” folder on Instagram, where she found a message from a woman who claimed that her friend hooked up with Aven in July during a trip to Santa Monica.

The woman sent proof, including a photo of her friend in bed with Aven, and Kylee knew she was telling the truth based on Aven’s outfit he was wearing that night.

The Bachelor Nation star said when she called her then-boyfriend to confront him about the allegations, he admitted to multiple cheating allegations right away.

Kylee originally wanted to work on things, but she said Aven sent her a message that felt like the end of their relationship.

She recalled the text where Aven said, “I am worthless and I feel totally totally worthless right now. I stepped out on our relationship and I don’t know what to do. I don’t deserve to be painted in any good light. I don’t deserve you. I don’t deserve anyone. I need to seek major help in rebuilding myself.”

Kylee added that Aven felt “selfish and inconsiderate” and he said, “I have ruined everything.”

Nick asked where the two stand now, and Kylee said Aven is still working on himself and Kylee is still planning on moving to San Diego with her friends.

She doesn’t know what the future holds for the two of them, but Kylee said that Aven “needs to do the work.”
