‘Golden Bachelor’s’ Edith Aguirre Gets Candid About Going Gray at 17 Years Old and Embracing Her Hair Now

Bachelor Nation fans got to know Edith on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor,” and it’s no secret that Edith was glowing in every episode.
Since her time on the show, Edith has taken to social media to share her beauty secrets with her followers.
And now, the fan favorite is getting candid about her gorgeous gray hair that she shows off and styles with pride.
On her Instagram Stories, Edith shared a throwback photo of herself at her senior prom and wrote, “I found my first white hair at 17 years old. Here I’m dying my hair for the first time for my prom in 1981.”
Edith shared that she continued dyeing her hair through her 30s and even dyed her hair black at one point to hide the grays.
She shared that she was dyeing “my hair every two weeks to cover” my gray but eventually made the decision to stop.
Edith shared a photo growing out her natural hair color and wrote, “In August 2018, I made the hardest decision to stop [dyeing] my hair at the age of 55 years old. I was tired of [dyeing] it every two weeks.”
Around a year later, Edith made a bigger decision and shared a photo writing, “In September 2019, I decided to visit a salon and get rid of the black hair with bleach. It was orange at first because my hair was so damaged from all the [dyeing]. The hardest part of all of this is making that first step to embrace your silver hair.”
And now, Edith shared, “I have finally embraced my silver hair! It’s a long process but at the end I’m free from all the chemicals in my hair and I love it!”
