This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Catherine & Sean Lowe Had Their First One-on-One Date
It may have been cold, but sparks were flying!
As we dive into Season 27 of “The Bachelor,” we’re looking back on some of the best moments in Bachelor Nation history.
This week, we’re throwing it back to Season 17, when former Bachelor Sean Lowe went on his very first one-on-one date with his now wife, Catherine Giudici Lowe.
The two are still going strong! Over the past decade, they have gotten married and welcomed three adorable children into their family.
Looking back on their very first date is the ultimate throwback to the beginning of one of the most iconic Bachelor Nation love stories.
For the week of their date, Sean and the nine remaining bachelorettes traveled to spectacular Alberta, Canada.
Catherine received the date card for the date where she and Sean shared a romantic tryst on a glacier in Jasper National Park and then embarked on a rugged joy ride in a monster snow truck.
The two played around in the snow, went sledding, and shared some romantic kisses.
The blizzard-like weather didn’t freeze their chance at sparking a connection, Catherine was able to open up and show a more serious side of herself.
Sean even said, “There’s no doubt in my mind that Catherine has passed the blizzard test!”
The whole sweet day melted Sean’s heart and she received the rose on their date.
