April Kirkwood Gets Candid About Plastic Surgery and Shares Why She Signed Up for ‘Golden Bachelor’

Fans got to know April Kirkwood on Gerry’s season of “The Golden Bachelor,” and she’s been keeping us updated with her life on social media ever since.
This week, April did an Instagram Q&A where she opened up about all things “Golden Bachelor,” plastic surgery, and more.
One fan asked April if she’s had any plastic surgery on her face and she got candid, saying, “Yes. I’ve had plastic surgery. I started when I was young so it appears that I remain the same. In truth, surgery works wonders, but only lasts seven to 10 years. There are many procedures now that are way less invasive and really help.”
April shared what else she does to keep her youthful appearance, saying, “I try to stay away from sugar. I just did a holistic healing meditation that helps reverse aging for health reasons. But mostly, I just try to stay happy. Let me assure you, my joy is my priority because without it, both the inside and outside will not continue to grow happy cells.”

Another fan asked April why she went on “The Golden Bachelor” and April shared why she really went on the show.
She said, “I went on the show to try and move forward after losing my late husband Ralph. His death was the worst thing that I ever experienced. When the opportunity came up, I was afraid to go. But I was afraid to stay in my house crying.”
April went on, saying, “That’s why I eventually decided to go on the show. Finally, I’m just now getting ready to date again. Going on ‘The Golden Bachelor’ really helped me move forward.”
