Matt James Teases ‘Special’ Proposal for Rachael Kirkconnell in the Future: ‘I’m Definitely Excited’

Bachelor Nation couple Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell found love on Season 25 of “The Bachelor.”
Since their time on the show, the couple has been keeping fans updated with their lives on social media.
And this week, Matt opened up to People about his future with Rachael and whether he plans on proposing.
While the two didn’t get engaged on “The Bachelor,” Matt shares that he does plan to propose in the future.
The former Bachelor said, “We wouldn't be together if that wasn’t the same goal. I’m definitely excited for what the future looks like with us.”
And if you’ve been keeping up with Matt and Rachael, you know that they’ve traveled the world together — everywhere from Tokyo to London to Los Angeles and so many more places.
So when it comes to a proposal, Matt wants to make sure it feels special for his girlfriend.
He told the outlet, “It is going to be something special because Rachael’s very special.”
How sweet!
And while they’ve traveled the world, there’s nothing Matt and Rachael love more than a night at home with a home-cooked meal.
But Matt says an at-home proposal isn’t in the cards, saying, “It’s a little more than getting engaged on the couch!”
We can’t wait to see what Matt has up his sleeve and are excited for all that the future holds for these two!
