Ashley Iaconetti & Jared Haibon Reveal the Gender of Baby #2 and Whether They Predicted It
So exciting!
As Bachelor Nation fans know, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti first met on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.
The two got engaged on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and tied the knot in August 2019.
Since then, they’ve welcomed son Dawson into their lives, and now they are expecting baby number two.
The couple just took to Amazon Live to reveal the gender of their second baby!
They bit into a cupcake that revealed blue frosting and found out they are having another baby boy!
Ashley was shocked, yelling, “Are you kidding me?!”
Jared opened up about the news, saying, “Oh, boy, it’s a boy! Yay, we’re having a boy! Obviously, I am very excited. The idea that we’re having two boys is really exciting. I’m excited for the times that Dawson has a Little League game at 9 and the other one has a game at 11. I hope they like sports!”
And Ashley got candid about why she went back and forth about whether or not it was a boy or a girl.
She said, “Before I got pregnant, I was definitely convinced that we’d have two boys, at least I was. You weren’t so convinced. I was so convinced, I just knew. Then I got pregnant, and I was so much less sick. I still don’t feel good, but it was so different than last time. That was uncontrollable throwing up, so I thought that this must be different.”
Ashley went on, adding, “There had to be a reason why this was so different. So I became fully convinced it was a girl and everyone around me was like, ‘It’s gotta be a girl.’ Then when we had the results. Before we knew, I was like, ‘It’s totally a boy.’ And I was right.”
We can’t wait to see Dawson be such an adorable big brother and we are so excited to meet baby Haibon number two this summer!
