Jared Freid Shares His Prediction for Who Will Be the Next Bachelorette: ‘That Tells You Everything’

Comedian, podcaster, and Bachelor Nation superfan Jared Freid stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast this week for a candid conversation with co-hosts Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile.
During their conversation, they recapped the Hometowns episode and Joe and Serena asked Jared who he thinks could be the next Bachelorette.
After Maria’s exit this week, Jared shared why he thinks she’s a front-runner for next season’s leading lady.
Jared said, “I don’t look up spoilers, I won’t look at anything like that. I think Maria has to be the next Bachelorette whether she’s ready or not just based on the following that she’s gotten and how much people really care about her. And she’s a character. She pops off the screen. I mean, she came to my show wearing a long-sleeve crop top in the middle of February.”
He went on, saying, “This is a personality. That tells you everything. We want to see her dad again. She might hold out, though. She might pull a Tyler Cameron and it might be better for her to not than to do it. I don’t know if it works the same as it did at that time, so I think she’s the choice. She also didn’t cry or do the speech people do in that limo. Even when she left, I was like, ‘I don’t know if she wants this.’”
Jared also shared that he’s excited for the rest of the season and can’t wait to see how Fantasy Suites unfold for Joey.
The comedian said, “I’m going to trust Joey with my life at this point. I’m curious how he’s going to handle Fantasy Suites. This is how I’ll start going to my own version of a Fantasy Suite. I’m going to do whatever Joey tells me to do.”
