Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Sandra Mason on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor” for her honesty and hilarious sense of humor.

While things didn’t work out between Gerry Turner and Sandra, she is still looking for love and has high hopes for her future partner.

She opened up exclusively to BachelorNation.com about her dating life and what she’s looking for in a man.

Sandra shared that she has gotten some weird letters and gone on some bad dates recently, but she remains hopeful.

She said, “I haven’t had a ton of time for too many dates really. Life has been kind of cray cray, but good cray cray! Fans talked about guys sliding into my DMs and before the show I didn’t even know what that meant. That is vocabulary I had no knowledge of, but yes, now men have been sliding in!”

And while she gets lots of DMs, not all are the right fit for our girl.

Sandra shared, “There are a lot of guys who don’t live where I live, so I ask if they are willing to visit Atlanta and they say they will but it won’t be until months later or something like that. But to be clear, I’m not heading to wherever they are, I have things to do here, they can come to me.”

The Bachelor Nation star added that she knows she will find the right person for her, saying, “I am still really hopeful though. I am not shutting down at all when it comes to dating. I know my man is going to come along. It’s not just possible, it’s probable and it’s going to happen for me.”

75 year old Sandra really knows what she’s looking for in a partner and shared her absolute nos and dating preferences with us.

She said, “I know what I am looking for. I look at it as absolute nos and preferences. There are some absolute nos that I wouldn’t date. I won’t date cigarette smokers. I’m also not fond of men who don’t have relationships with their children. I know that there are things that occur that can’t be helped, but when dads haven’t been dads and all the sudden they want to be dads that bothers me. That may have to do with my own experience because my dad wasn’t a good dad.”

Sandra went on, saying, “As for my preferences, I like taller men. I always like dating taller men and my dad was tall and my daughters are six feet tall. So I’m used to looking up at a guy and when it comes to physical intimacy, there’s something about a guy that’s bigger than I am that adds to the arousal stage.”
