EXCLUSIVE: Sydney Hightower Warner Gets Excited to Celebrate First Mother’s Day: ‘Life Has Been So Sweet’
Celebrating mamas!
Fans first met Bachelor Nation star Sydney Hightower Warner on Season 24 of “The Bachelor,” and while things didn’t work out with Peter Weber, Sydney has continued to share her life with fans on social media.
Shortly after her time on “The Bachelor,” Sydney met NFL star Fred Warner, and the two have been inseparable since.
The two got married in 2022 and welcomed their first child, Beau, in March.
Now, Sydney stopped by for an exclusive chat with BachelorNation.com, where she opened up about motherhood, Beau’s milestones, and more.
Bachelor Nation: Happy first Mother’s Day, Sydney! We are so in love with your little Beau. What has life been like since welcoming your baby?!
Sydney Warner: Thank you so much! Life has been so sweet! Since bringing Beau home, the days have been short and the nights have been LONG! But this new chapter of motherhood has been so special and already so life-changing.
BN: That is incredible. He is so beautiful. What has surprised you most about motherhood so far?
SW: How much I love my son! It feels like I have known him forever and he’s always been in my life in some way? It's crazy loving someone so much so instantly.
BN: Pretty amazing, right?! What has been your favorite part about being a mom?
SW: The connection I have with my son and being able to look forward to all the memories we have to make and milestones I get to experience with him!
BN: Yes! So much to look forward to. How would you say motherhood has changed you?
SW: In every way you could think of! My body has changed but also my mind. I’m so much more thankful for things I took for granted before being a mom. Having a healthy beautiful baby, a healthy pregnancy, a loving husband. I am so blessed and so thankful for the things that actually matter in life.
BN: Absolutely. What milestones are you most looking forward to in Beau’s future?
SW: Oh, my gosh, SO many! His first steps, first words, first baseball, soccer, or maybe even football practice! His first day of school. Just so many things to forward to!
BN: How exciting! What does being Beau’s mom mean to you?
SW: Honestly, everything now. I am responsible for raising and shaping this little guy into becoming a good person and I take that responsibility very seriously!
BN: He’s so lucky to have you! What do you hope to teach him as he grows up?
SW: I hope to teach him that above anything else I want him to be kind, confident, and honest. Those are my three biggies.
BN: Those are some important qualities! Do you have any advice for fellow new parents?
SW: Be patient with your partner, and with yourself. Those first few weeks are a whirlwind and you need a really good teammate to get through them, so be kind and patient and savor the newborn stage!
BN: Words of wisdom! Do you have a proudest moment as a mom so far?
SW: Yes! Realizing that I can do the hard things! When he’s screaming in the back seat because he hates the car seat and I’m driving alone, when I’m up at all hours of the night soothing him, when he’s fussy and needs me 24/7! I think just realizing I can do the hard stuff is when I’m most proud of myself.
BN: Moms are incredible! One last question, would you let Beau watch your Bachelor Nation journey one day when he’s older?
SW: OMG! I honestly feel like I would have to because the show is the way I met his dad! So yes, I would allow it... I think, lol.
BN: Thank you so much, Sydney! Hope you have a wonderful first Mother’s Day celebrating with your family. Congrats again on baby Beau!
