Maria Georgas Spills the Tea on Dating One of Drake’s Best Friends: ‘Drake Is So Kind and Sweet’

Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Maria Georgas on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
While things didn’t work out between Maria and Joey Graziadei, she’s been keeping fans updated with her life on social media since being on the show.
Now, she stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast for her very first podcast interview and opened up about her dating life before the show.
Co-hosts and fellow Toronto native Serena Pitt asked Maria about the rumor that she as dating one of rapper Drake’s best friends.
Maria got candid, saying, “We’re cool, so I don’t mind talking about this. He owned a restaurant with Drake in Toronto. Drake is a big thing in Toronto, obviously. It’s just not as crazy to think that there are ties to Drake in Toronto. Drake is the most amazing person. He is so kind and so sweet. My ex-boyfriend did have a restaurant with Drake.”
Serena related saying that being from Toronto, everyone is a few people removed from local celebs like Drake, Shawn Mendes, and Justin Bieber.
Maria agreed, saying, “That’s where that tie came in. I got to meet Drake and know him through my ex. They were running a restaurant together. It was a very popular restaurant at the time called Fring’s. Now my other friend owns the new place. It’s called Marbl now. My friend Peter worked with Kaitlyn Bristowe and Peter is literally the best. He owns that place now, but before that, it was called Fring’s.”
Joe Amabile and Serena realized they were at the same restaurant opening event with Maria when they were there to support Kaitlyn.
