Chris Lane Posts Throwback Photo with Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell — See Ben’s Response

Bachelor Nation fans know Lauren Bushnell Lane from Season 20 of “The Bachelor,” where she got engaged to Ben Higgins.
The two ended up going their separate ways. Since her time on Bachelor Nation shows, she found love with country singer Chris Lane.
Over the weekend, Chris took to Instagram to share a throwback photo from the iHeartCountry Festival in 2016, where he posed for a photo with his future wife and her then fiancé.
Alongside the photo with Ben and Lauren, Chris wrote, “The year was 2016..just had my first song on the radio… I was playing the @iheartcountry festival in Austin Texas… I didn’t know it at the time but @tompoleman introduced me to my future wife that night.”
He went on, “Four years after meeting / this photo we were dating and then engaged. Yesterday, eight years later I played the festival for my second time and we got to reminisce on that night and I got to personally thank Tom for that introduction on April 30, 2016.”
Fans and Bachelor Nation stars like Amanda Stanton quickly filled the comments of the post with things like, “OMG! What’s meant for you will always find its way!” and “Love that you two are together, and wow bold photo choice!”
Ben threw out a nod to Chris’ song about Lauren, commenting, “I had big big plans for the two of you. Life works out exactly as it should my man.”
He added, “But I knew I shouldn’t have let you two stand next to each other in the photo.”
We love that Ben got in on the fun and that all is well between him, Lauren, and their respective spouses now.
Everything worked out the way it should!
