First-time author!

Bachelor Nation fans first met Abigail Heringer on Season 25 of “The Bachelor,” and she went on to find love with Noah Erb on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

During her time on the Bachelor Nation shows, Abigail opened up about her hearing loss and how she wears a cochlear implant.

And she’s been continuing to educate her followers about being deaf and wearing cochlear implants on social media.

Now, Abi just revealed that she’s releasing her very first book, her memoir, called “The Deaf Girl: A Memoir of Hearing Loss, Hope, and Fighting Against the Odds.”

The Bachelor Nation star took to Instagram to share the exciting news and shared photos of her book’s cover.

Alongside the pics, Abigail wrote, “In 2021, many of you met me for the first time when I stepped out of the limousine in a quest for love. My introduction included a playful mention of my deafness meant as a light-hearted pickup line, but it sparked a much-needed conversation about hearing loss in mainstream media. Since then, I’ve received numerous messages from people sharing their own experiences with hearing loss.”

She went on, sharing, “Some reminded me of high school Abigail, unsure where she fit in, born deaf but received a cochlear implant at a young age placing her between two communities. Others echoed my mom’s journey, navigating the world as a parent of two deaf daughters, filled with the fear of the unknown. There were those who, like my now fiancé, wanted to learn how to be a supportive partner to someone with a disability. And many others who expressed the struggle with how to balance their disability with their personal identity.”

So Abigail teamed up with her mom to look back on their lives and put together this important book.

She ended her post by saying, “Over the course of the past three years, my mom and I have combined our experiences into this book — mine of growing up with a disability and navigating life’s challenges, and hers of raising two daughters with a shared disability and facing uncharted waters. Our goal is that ‘The Deaf Girl’ can provide answers, comfort, and hope to those who need it.”
