Rachel Recchia Reveals She’s Hospitalized for Kidney Infection: ‘Sorry for Being MIA’

Bachelor Nation fans know and love Rachel Recchia from her time on “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette,” and “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The beloved star keeps her hundreds of thousands of fans updated with her life on social media, and this week she shared a scary update.
She had been quiet on social media and some fans began to worry, then the former Bachelorette shared an update from the hospital.
With a view of watching TV in her hospital bed, Rachel wrote, “Sorry for being MIA. I thought I had the flu this past month, but it turns out it was a kidney infection.”
She asked fans for TV show recommendations as she recovers in the hospital.
Thankfully, she hasn’t lost her sense of humor, as Rachel also shared a photo of her hospital gown and socks asking if anyone “wants an outfit link.”
Her roommate and best friend Genevieve Parisi went to the hospital to check on Rachel and Rachel shared a photo of Gen looking for her room, writing, “Gen to the rescue.”
She also shared that her other Bachelor Nation friends like Jill Chin were checking in on her.
