Sarah Herron Welcomes Twin Girls at 32 Weeks One Year After Losing Her Son: ‘Can’t Believe They’re Ours’
They’re here!
Bachelor Nation first met Sarah Herron on Season 17 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens for Seasons 1 and 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
In September, after many highs and lows of her IVF journey, Sarah revealed that she and her husband Dylan Brown were expecting a baby boy.
Then, last year, Sarah took to Instagram to share the tragic news that their son Oliver had passed away shortly after he was born prematurely at 24 weeks.
After her pregnancy loss, Sarah eventually did more rounds of IVF. This time, the Bachelor Nation star took to Instagram in January to share the exciting news that she was pregnant with twin girls.
Now, Sarah just welcomed her twin daughters and shared the exciting news on Instagram.
Alongside a video compilation of her and Dylan with their babies, she wrote, “World, meet Everette Rae & Colette Rose (Evy & Coco) born July 1st 2024. Fraternal twin sisters, our little 32-weekers took us all by surprise a whopping 7.5 weeks early. We’re all adjusting to life in the NICU as we have a long road ahead of us — undeniably filled with twists and turns—but the girls are fighters and getting stronger every day — we all are.”
Sarah continued, “We’re so grateful for our care team and any continued prayers for our tiny warriors. Today’s plan: Sleep, breathe and grow! Welcome to the world little ones! My heart is completely outside of my body for these two miracles.”
The Bachelor Nation star also shared a message for her fellow IVF warriors and mamas in waiting.
She said, “I just can’t believe they’re ours. That they’re here. After coming into this hospital for 4 years for labs, ultrasounds and follicle counts... they’re here. I’ve walked the halls of this hospital so many times, passing the birth center doors, and now I get to walk into the birth center every day to see our babies. They’re here.”
Sarah went, “The vacations, weddings and experiences put on pause... they’re here. My heart, mixed with my favorite person in the entire world’s, sleeping in my arms. To the mamas in waiting; I know how hard it is. I know the slog seems endless AND that endless pursuit is not a pursuit for all of us. Wherever your path takes you, stay awake. Stay connected. Stay steadfast.”
We are sending Sarah, Dylan, and their entire family so much love as they enter this exciting new chapter.
Welcome to the world, Evy and Coco!
