Katie Thurston Shares Why Her Boyfriend Jeff Arcuri Is ‘Different’ and Discusses Moving to NYC For Him

Bachelor Nation fans first met Katie Thurston on Season 25 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens for Season 17 of “The Bachelorette.”
Since her time on the shows, Katie has been keeping fans updated with her life on social media, and during her recent Q&As, she’s revealed a new romance.
Last month, she hard launched her love with fellow comedian Jeff Arcuri and recently took to Instagram to share more about their relationship.
During a Q&A on her Stories, one fan asked when she and Jeff officially started dating.
The former Bachelorette shared, “After a month of talking from a distance, we made it official on May 5th, which was one day after we met in person. Who doesn’t want to celebrate their anniversary with tacos and margs?!”
Another person asked Katie why Jeff is different from all of her other past relationships.
Katie said, “There was this 90 day trial period I often experienced while dating. And within those three months, there would be signs that would tell me ‘yeaaaa this isn’t gonna work out.’ But we build a solid foundation by being long distance.”
She went on, “Communication is key and we have that nailed down pretty well. We understand each other’s anxieties and can comfortably talk through them. He brings peace to my mind, heart, and soul. Loving him is the easiest thing I’ve done.”
How sweet!
Katie also opened up about potentially moving to New York City for Jeff since he currently lives there and she’s based in Los Angeles.
She said, “My passions and goals are mobile. When Jeff isn’t touring, his work is in NYC. It would only make sense that when the time comes, I’d be making the move to him (with Tommy).”
We are so happy for Katie that she’s so happy and we can’t wait for all that the future holds for her and Jeff!
