Demi Burnett Featured on Cover of Autism Digest Magazine: ‘I’m Cooler Than I’ve Ever Been’

If you’ve been keeping up with Bachelor Nation star Demi Burnett, you know that around two years ago, she got candid about her autism diagnosis on social media.
Since being diagnosed by her doctor, Demi has continued to discuss autism openly online and share educational videos about autism, pathological demand avoidance, sobriety, and ADHD.
Now, the Bachelor Nation star just took to Instagram to share the exciting news that she’s on the cover of Autism Digest Magazine and has a full feature inside the publication.
Alongside a photo of the cover, Demi wrote, “I’m on the cover of Autism Digest 😱🤯Thank you, I am honored! 🥹 when I share my experience, I am sharing for the people who relate. Y’all help me feel so much less alone 🩷🩷”
In the interview, Demi opened up about embracing her autistic identity and building a supportive community so she can cultivate a life of well-being and authenticity.
She told the outlet, “My life is now so much more wholesome and I’m protecting my own peace. I feel like I’m cooler than I’ve ever been and it’s not even on purpose this time!”
And she shared what makes her feel safe, saying, “The most important thing is always having a buddy who I can rely on. If I give them the look like ‘help me!’ they know to grab my arm, follow me, and help me get some space.”
Autism Digest asked Demi for any advice for other autistic people who are entering the dating world.
She said, “There are people out there who are going to support you and understand you and love you. Don’t give up. There are brighter days ahead.”
