Sarah Herron’s Twin Daughters Finally Leave NICU After 4 Weeks: ‘Let the Games Begin!’
A major moment.
Bachelor Nation first met Sarah Herron on Season 17 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens for Seasons 1 and 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
After many highs and lows of her IVF journey, Sarah just shared that she and her husband Dylan Brown have welcomed twin girls.
The Bachelor Nation star took to Instagram to introduce the world to her two little miracles, Evy and Coco, last month.
The little ones spent four weeks in the NICU, as they were born at 32 weeks, but now they are finally ready to go home!
Alongside a video of them leaving the hospital, Sarah wrote, “Four Sundays ago we walked into labor and delivery after my water unexpectedly broke at 32 weeks pregnant with twins. Four Sundays later, we walked out with our beautiful, thriving daughters. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to our incredible NICU team, the nurses, pediatricians, the OB’s, midwives, anesthesiologist, lactation consultants, speech therapists, and support staff who loved our girls and gave them exceptional care for the last month.”
The Bachelor Nation star went on, “Thank you for ushering us into parenthood, teaching us how to give bottles, baths and take a temperature. Your warm, selfless care made our last 28 days in the NICU the best that it could be given the circumstance. You kept us calm and reassured the whole way. I will never forget a single face that we spent time with throughout this journey. Leaving truly is bittersweet. Let the games begin!”
Many of Sarah’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars flooded the comments of her post with love and excitement for this long-awaited day.
Jade Roper Tolbert said, “Yay!!! The best news!! And Rio gets to see his girls.”
Lesley Murphy chimed in, writing, “The freaking best ❤️Not me crying happy tears….again😭love y’all!”
And fellow IVF mom Haley Ferguson added, “So happy for you 🥹🩷🩷🩵”
We couldn’t agree more with all the love, and we’re wishing Sarah and her family all the best as they enter this exciting new chapter with their babies at home!
