Jenn Tran Reveals Why She Was ‘Aggravated’ With Aaron When He Left ‘The Bachelorette’
Spilling the tea.
Bachelor Nation fans are watching Jenn Tran look for love on Season 21 of “The Bachelorette.”
This week, she stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where she discussed Aaron’s departure from the show and why it frustrated her.
Co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt first asked Jenn if she was upset about Aaron’s decision to leave and she said she was at peace with it.
The Bachelorette shared, “I wanted to see where things were going, but in my head at that point, I had some really strong connections with the other guys. So I wasn’t necessarily heartbroken that Aaron was leaving. I was honestly genuinely happy for him to get this opportunity that he’s been wanting for so long.”
Then, the co-hosts asked Jenn how she felt when Aaron revealed that he thinks some guys are there for the wrong reasons without saying who before he left.
Jenn got candid, saying, “I was immediately so pissed when he didn’t tell me who. Here’s my thing with that. Say that you’re going to leave, I support you and all of your dreams. But then, you tell me that there are people not here for the right reasons and won’t tell me exactly who and that you trust my decision making and that I’ll make the right choice. If you trust me, don’t tell me that then. Just let it play out and that’s that.”
She went on, explaining, “I feel like him dropping that bomb was a little selfish in a way. If you’re going to drop that bomb, then drop all the bombs and tell me who it is. Stick with your gut with it, but he didn’t, and that is what aggravated me. Not necessarily that I would’ve trusted who he would’ve said because at that point I trusted myself more than this guy who I had only known for a couple of weeks. It was just an annoying situation to have to deal with.”
And Jenn revealed who she thought Aaron was talking about and why that made it even more frustrating.
“I immediately thought that Aaron was talking about Devin and I wanted him to just say it. I wasn’t blind. I knew that they had beef from the ice cream situation, so I wasn’t dumb, but if you’re gonna say something, man up and say it,” the Bachelorette explained.
