Fans first met Caila Quinn Burrello on Season 20 of “The Bachelor,” and she continued her journey on Season 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

While Caila didn’t meet her life partner on-screen, she ended up meeting her now-husband off-screen. Caila married the love of her life, Nick Burrello, in May 2021.

The two welcomed their first child together, daughter Teddi, in March 2023. And earlier this week, they announced the birth of their second baby, Christian. 

Now, Caila is opening up online about how quickly their baby boy was born and the events that preceded his arrival. 

“When your water breaks a week early and you don’t have your hospital bag packed yet,” Caila wrote in a new post with a video outlining each moment from the time her water broke to when Christian was delivered. 

She added, “Everything happened so quickly, but grateful for the wonderful doctors and nurses that took care of our breached baby boy.”

The video shows timestamps of the day, and it’s revealed that everything happened in only a few hours. 

“Timestamps to show how quick everything happened! From my water breaking at 4:00 p.m. in our house to Christian in our arms by 8:00 p.m. — he was ready,” Caila commented.

Caila’s water broke at 4 p.m. and was on her way to the hospital with her husband by 4:55 p.m. She began having contractions in the car shortly after 5 p.m. but didn’t get checked into the hospital until 6 p.m. because of traffic.

Since the baby was breech, Caila shared that she had to have a C-section around 7 p.m. Baby Christian was born shortly after that and they returned to their hospital room. 

By 8 p.m., Caila wrote that they were “enjoying cuddles with our Christian.”

The new mom of two also shared the sweet moment their daughter Teddi met her new baby brother for the first time.

In another video, we see Caila holding Teddi while Nick holds Christian so the two siblings can meet each other. Reflecting on the day, Caila wrote, "We all read two books together, exchanged lovies, and had a peaceful moment together as a family of four for the first time. Wouldn’t trade this memory for the world. You both are our whole entire hearts and we will love you forever."

So sweet! And we’re so glad Caila and baby are healthy after such a quick delivery.
