‘The Golden Bachelorette’ Men Share Golden Advice to Their Younger Selves: ‘Take a Leap of Faith’

The highly anticipated first season of “The Golden Bachelorette” is premiering Wednesday, September 18, on ABC, and while we’ve already met our leading lady, Joan Vassos, it’s time to get to know the men vying for her heart a little better.
These guys are looking for true, lasting love in this chapter of their lives, and have some advice to share for their younger selves.
In a new special teaser shared on social media, each of these men offer words of wisdom from what they’ve learned throughout their lives.
We see a montage of the guys sharing their favorite pieces of advice, which includes Mark saying, “Keep doing what you’re doing.”
Jack chimes in and adds, “Follow your heart!” while Chock advises to “not wear skinny jeans.”
Other pieces of advice from the Golden guys include making the right choices, being more tolerant, being a nice person, and learning how to play a musical instrument or dance moves.
Christopher shares his words of wisdom for relationships that “the more you know who you are, the better you can be to someone else.”
We also see multiple men share that “everything will be okay” and to “just keep moving forward.”
RJ gets more sentimental and advises, “Love the people that are in your life because you don’t know how long they’re gonna be there.”
The teaser ends with the men saying the most important piece of advice is “if you find someone you really enjoy being with, take a leap of faith, go for it, open up your feelings and your heart because falling in love is the most amazing feeling.”
