Get to know Keith a little better below!
1. I think a celebrity couple that is the definition of #relationshipgoals is: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. They have intense, time-consuming careers, but they seem to be the perfect couple. They have a fun, loving relationship and are very supportive of each other.
2. My guilty pleasure is: Dark chocolate — in any form. If there is some form of dark chocolate treat on a menu, I will always order it, and apologies to my date, but I’ll have trouble sharing it (lol). This includes large, decadent slices of cake, any lava cakes, or even a dark chocolate syrup over vanilla ice cream. During Halloween, my daughters would always sort their candy and I would be the lucky recipient of all their dark chocolate candy. Although I am picky and prefer cocoa levels between 78% and 82% for best flavors, I will indulge in any dark chocolate put in front of me.
3. The best relationship advice I ever received was: Communicate, communicate, communicate. Communication involves listening, honesty, and patience. When you’re in a loving relationship, be sure to be honest with your words and feelings and make sure to listen to your partner’s thoughts and feelings as well. It is not about being right but finding a way to move forward in your relationship as loving, growing partners.
4. My zodiac sign is ___________ and my most [insert zodiac sign] trait would be: Pisces, and my most Pisces trait is that I’m a romantic. Life is one big rom-com and there is a soulmate out there just for me. I believe in love at first sight and the incredible loving energy between two people when they first meet and start to date. Even when life throws obstacles in your way, if a love is meant to be, it will prevail.
5. My biggest pet peeve is: People with a negative outlook on life. The world is not an easy place and we all have different opinions on how to live our lives. The people who constantly judge others and spew negative thoughts and actions into the universe only serve to bring other people down. We should all find ways to see the world in a positive light and uplift the people around us.
6. The first thing I do when I wake up is: Look for my first cup of coffee. Enjoying a good cup of coffee and organizing my thoughts for the day is very relaxing.
7. My last meal on earth would be: If I could have one last meal, I would have my grandmother’s fried chicken, sweet corn on the cob from Indiana, watermelon, and gravy made from the bits left over from the fried chicken. YUMMMMMM!
8. The song that always makes me want to dance is: “Bye Bye Bye” by *NSYNC. Back in the day, the boy bands could really put out great dance songs.
9. My hidden talent is: Remembering people’s names. For some reason, I can meet a person once and remember their names the next time I see them, even if it has been months since last time I saw them.
10. My current phone screen saver is: A close-up of my oldest daughter cross-eyed when she was about 7 years old. When I get texts or notifications, they come in under her eyes and it looks like she is looking directly at them. It’s pretty spooky.
11. The movie I’ve rewatched the most is: “Purple Rain.” Prince is one of my favorite artists of all time and the movie was so well done along with all the good music. If I’m flipping channels and it’s on, I’ll watch the whole thing, including commercials.
12. The most famous person who I’d love to meet is: Muhammad Ali. One of the greatest athletes in the world ever and one of the most recognized names and faces in the world. His ethical, moral, and religious beliefs were always more important than the sport he played.
13. My favorite emoji is: Jazz hands. It is a sign of happiness and joy and conveys something more fun and enjoyable than a common smiley face.
14. My favorite part of being on “The Golden Bachelorette” was: Meeting a bunch of new friends. I had heard about the many bromances that have occurred on previous seasons but never envisioned meeting so many great guys that I want to stay in touch with. Meeting new guy friends at our age is more difficult because we are so involved in our own lives and families. On the show, we all had a common bond about finding love, but we then had lots of time to talk about our feelings, loves, hobbies, and wishes/dreams for our future. We had so much in common and now I have a great group of new friends!
15. Being on “The Golden Bachelorette” taught me: Don’t hide my feelings. I use my big personality as a shield to show or discuss my feelings with others. It’s okay to keep my personality, but don’t hide behind it.
16. My advice for anyone who goes on “The Golden Bachelorette” in the future is: Don’t hold back on your feelings. You are here to find love, so give the experience 100% of your time and feelings. Forget about the cameras and other people’s opinions. You will never know if you can connect with the Bachelorette unless you let your guard down and go for it.
17. If I had to hang out with only three people from Bachelor Nation for the rest of my life, it would be: Aaron Clancy, Joey Graziadei, and Wells Adams — I feel like these three would be three chill, fun guys to hang with.
18. If you go on “The Golden Bachelorette,” don’t forget to pack: A fun game or cards to play with the other bachelors. There is a lot of downtime where you are just sitting, talking, eating and drinking, and doing nothing. During these times, a good card game or dice can break the monotony yet still keep you engaged with everyone else.
19. When Bachelor Nation fans approach me in person and/or online, the first question they ask is: How was it, and my answer is always, “Best time ever. 11/10.” I hoped that I would be chosen to be on the show and am so thankful to have had this great experience.
20. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Sitting on a beach with the love of my life, soaking in the sun, and enjoying what life has provided us!
