Bachelor Nation fans first met Katie Thurston on Season 25 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens for Season 17 of “The Bachelorette” as the leading lady.

Since her time on the shows, Katie has been keeping fans updated with her life on social media, and earlier this year, she hard-launched her love with fellow comedian Jeff Arcuri. 

The two have been going strong since announcing their relationship, and Katie recently shared that she and Jeff are engaged! 

Now, the Bachelor Nation star has taken to Instagram to answer some fan questions about her and Jeff’s relationship during a Q&A. 

One fan asked the Bachelor Nation star how she knew that Jeff was the one for her. 

Katie replied, “Loving him is the easiest thing I’ve done. I didn’t have to ‘try to navigate’ anything. We have strong and healthy communication skills. If you’re weighing the pros and cons, it’s not your person.” 

She also added in another response, “He is very supportive of my dreams and goals and we continue to figure out ways to blend our lives, passions, and goals together.” 

Another fan brought up that Katie had mentioned being unsure about wanting kids while on the Bachelor Nation shows, and wanted to know how and when she decided that. 

Katie answered, “When I had mentioned I wasn’t sure if I wanted kids at the time, that was mainly because I had yet to picture a person, a partner, to have children with. You know I think that’s probably the first step, is finding someone you would actually enjoy raising children with.” 

She continued, “Of my past dating experiences, financially it didn’t make sense. Romantically it didn’t make sense. You know even communication-wise, obviously all my past relationships, like there were issues. And that’s not to say Jeff and I don’t have our own things that come up I’m sure and will continue to come up. But raising a child with Jeff is something I can see.” 

Katie then explained more about the conversations she and Jeff have had around kids and the plan they’ve created. 

“Now of course we’ve also talked about my age and if I can even conceive, we don’t know yet,” she shared, “But we’re open. We’re open to having kids, we’re open to adopting, we’re also open to the idea that maybe it’s just not in our future. But I definitely want to at least try.” 

One fan then asked about wedding details and if Katie and Jeff are planning on getting married in Washington or elsewhere. 

The Bachelor Nation star expressed, “As much as I love the Pacific Northwest, anyone who’s from there knows that the weather is very unpredictable. So, right now — and things can change obviously — but my heart is leaning towards Northern California.”

She went on to explain, “Because you still get that forest vibes, the woods, you know the trees. Like it’s very Washington, but you get better and more predictable weather. And as someone who’s probably going to want an outdoor wedding, that’s important.”
