Amanda Stanton Shares Health Update from Her Explant Surgery: ‘I Could Not Feel More Relieved’
Opening up.
Bachelor Nation star Amanda Stanton and her husband Michael Fogel got married last year in Santa Ynez, California.
As Bachelor Nation fans know, Amanda already has two daughters, Kinsley and Charlie, from a previous marriage.
Earlier this year, Michael and Amanda welcomed her third daughter and their first child together!
Now after having her third child, the Bachelor Nation star is opening up online about undergoing a breast explant surgery.
Alongside photos of her recovery, Amanda shared, “48 hours post explant. On Tuesday I said goodbye to my breast implants of 6.5 years and I could not feel more relieved!”
She continued, “I’ve been wanting my implants honestly since shortly after I got them and it feels so good to finally be on the other side of it. The truth is, I just didn’t feel like my implants aligned with my lifestyle anymore. Worries of them rupturing was a constant fear of mine.”
Amanda then shared an update on her health and how her body is feeling shortly after the surgery.
She explained, “I can’t say I had any breast implant illness symptoms but I’m not fully sure. I just wasn’t someone who ever got used to having a foreign object in my body & had a gut feeling that my body wanted them out… One thing I noticed is the whites of my eyes were INSTANTLY whiter! Something I have heard other people who have had explants say too but I fully was not expecting it for me!”
Amanda also got candid and revealed that she got the surgery for aesthetic reasons as well to feel more like herself again.
She admitted, “After weight fluctuations, pregnancy, breastfeeding, they got much larger and I just didn’t like the way they looked on me at all anymore. I felt like they were weighing on me. I had a hard time getting dressed in outfits I’d normally wear and just didn’t feel like myself anymore.”
The mom of three then shared more about her surgery experience and how she’s feeling on the other side now.
“Yay for no more foreign objects in my body,” Amanda expressed. “A HUGE thank you to @gaonplasticsurgery for making this process so seamless, meticulate and stress free. I truly couldn’t have imagined having a better experience!”
She ended by saying, “If you’re thinking about an explant, I say DO IT! I am beyond happy with the results and already feeling more like ME.”
Many of Amanda’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars commented on the post, sharing their love and support for her.
Raven Gates Gottschalk wrote, “So glad everything went well ❤️❤️❤️”
Clare Crawley added, “Congrats on healing! Whites of the eyes = liver.”
And Jenna Cooper Hudson said, “Congrats!! Getting mine taken out was one of my BEST decisions ever! Proud of you for going for it and sharing!”
We appreciate Amanda’s candidness and know it will help others going through something similar.
Bachelor Nation hopes Amanda has a speedy recovery and that her healing journey continues to go well!
