Since her time on the show, Maria has been keeping fans updated with her life on social media, often posting about her adventures with friends, brand events, and travels.
Now, she has taken to Instagram to expose the truth about chatter floating around regarding her and comedian Pete Davidson.
A recent rumor stated that the Bachelor Nation star had been secretly dating Pete Davidson, but the two are no longer together and he has gone to rehab.
The rumor was further circulated because Maria had previously written supportive comments on a couple of Pete’s sister’s social media posts.
Maria addressed this rumor by posting a blank screen on her Instagram Story with text that read, “Never dated Pete. False rumor! I’m friends with his sister. Case closed.”
The Bachelor Nation star then posted another slide on her Instagram Story to clear the air on Pete being in rehab.
She wrote, “Just spoke to his sister he’s not in rehab and has been sober for months. Can’t believe this…it’s very insulting to his recovery and my mental health. He’s literally home.”
Maria hasn’t since posted anything else related to the rumor, but her message was very clear.
