Fans first met Cassie Randolph on Season 23 of “The Bachelor,” and since her time on the show, she’s kept her over a million followers updated with her life on social media.
Cassie found love with her boyfriend, musician Brighton Reinhardt, in 2020, and the two have been going strong ever since.
Now, the couple has shared exclusively with People magazine that they are engaged!
According to the outlet, the Bachelor Nation star was caught by complete surprise when Brighton popped the question.
Cassie and her family were taking what she thought to be a pre-dinner stroll along the Newport Coast beach while Brighton was waiting for her along the cliffs by a restored beach cottage.
She had no hesitation when Brighton got down on one knee to propose. She revealed, “When Brighton dropped to a knee and asked ‘Will you marry me?’ as he opened the box, my reaction was immediately, ‘Oh, my gosh, yes!’”
Cassie shared how shocked she was by the proposal but also how it couldn’t have been more perfect.
“I was completely caught off guard,” she said, “I had no idea… The only thing I would have changed is, I wish I did my hair!”
According to the outlet, Cassie’s engagement ring was custom designed by Brighton with the help of her sister, and he engraved a “C” alongside her birthstone on the band.
