Chelsea Vaughn Shares Her Tips for Making Friends in the City & Gives an Exciting Dating Update
Is love in the air…?
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Chelsea Vaughn on Season 25 of “The Bachelor” and Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
She now lives in New York City and often shares dating advice, life updates, and a look into her fashionable life.
Last year, Chelsea returned to the screen and found love on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise Canada” with Austin Tinsley from Season 17 of “The Bachelorette,” but the two ended up going their separate ways.
Now, she’s taking to Instagram for a Q&A, where she is answering fan questions about dating, life in the city, and more.
One fan commented on a “fit check” post that Chelsea made, asking, “Looking fly as always. Where we off to?”
She responded by revealing an exciting new dating update with another video of her cute outfit.
Chelsea said, “A man wanted to take me on a surprise Christmas themed date, so who am I to say no ☺️”
Another fan asked about if the Bachelor Nation star has had any more interactions with her “hot neighbor” that she’s mentioned before, and Chelsea gave an interesting report.
“He’s the one who took me on the surprise date today!!! No I’m totally kidding,” she teased. “I’ve seen him like 10 times, at the park, at a bar… and I’ve since decided he isn’t that hot. I’ve moved on lol.”
Another fan got vulnerable and asked Chelsea, “How can I feel less lonely in NYC? Moved here 6 [months] ago and don’t know how to make friends.”
The Bachelor Nation star sympathized with the fan and gave her best tips for making friends in the city.
She said, “UGH! It’s so hard, especially in the winter. Start with your current friends / friends from home and ask them if they know anyone in NYC they can connect you with. Plan a coffee date.”
Chelsea gave some more tips, including focusing on hobbies and not being afraid to start chatting with people.
“Sign up for hobbies that interest you,” she shared, “Workout classes, book clubs, sports teams, pottery, etc. And then actually make an effort to be friendly and chat with people when you’re there. Tell everyone you’re new to the city!”
Love that advice!
We always love hearing from our Bachelor Nation stars and getting updates about what’s new in their lives. And we can’t wait to hear more about Chelsea’s date!
