Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Kelsey Anderson, Daisy Kent, and Rachel Nance on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.” 

Kelsey, Daisy, and Rachel were the final three women of the season, but Joey Graziadei ultimately decided to get down on one knee and pop the question to Kelsey. 

Since their time on the show, all three have stayed close friends with each other and often post about their hangouts together. 

However, Kelsey just revealed in a recent interview on “The Squeeze” podcast that it took some time for them to get there, and shared how they’ve all been able to remain friends since “The Bachelor.” 

The podcast’s Instagram account posted a clip of the interview online, and in it we hear host Tay Lautner ask Kelsey, “Coming off the show, how have you been able to stay friends with Daisy and Rachel?” 

Kelsey answered that it all came down to having understanding and respect for one another. 

She said, “I wanted to respect Daisy afterwards, so I didn’t want to come to her and be like, ‘Hey, what’s up’ if she needed time because I understood that it’s a weird situation.” 

Kelsey elaborated and revealed that respecting Daisy required giving her some space, which was not easy to do.

She expressed, “She’s my friend, but Joey and I ended up together. I wanted to text her immediately and be like, ‘Hey, how are you? I wish I could give you a hug,’ like all this. But I felt like I wanted to respect her, have her time a little bit.”

However, the two ended up reconnecting after a little while and it turns out Daisy had the same mindset as Kelsey.

“We ended up talking I think a couple months after and she’s like, ‘No, I wanted to text you right away too, but I was trying to respect you,’’ Kelsey revealed.

The Bachelor Nation star also admitted to having some difficulty adjusting right after the show, but shared where the three of them stand today.

“At the beginning I think it was a little hard because I was like, Oh, my gosh, is he sure he wants me? Oh, my God, what if he has second thoughts?” she admitted. “After a certain point of Joey, you know, reassuring me, it’s like we’ve built so much since the show. I don’t have to wonder anything. And I feel very comfortable hanging out with them.”
