Serena Chew Reveals She’s Hung Up Her Flight Attendant Wings for Good: ‘No Longer Reporting for Duty’
A new beginning…
Fans first met Bachelor Nation star Serena Chew on Season 25 of “The Bachelor” and she returned to our screens for Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Serena has been continuing to share about her life with Bachelor Nation fans on social media.
She has been living in Miami, Florida, and recently moved back to the Bay Area to pursue her dream of becoming a pilot.
However, in an update she gave earlier this month, she revealed that she decided to quit her job as a flight attendant to work on her pilot training full time.
In the update, she shared, “I am giving up my original dream job. I had the best 5 years of being a flight attendant, and I get really emotional thinking about it because this is a huge transition, but I have new goals now.”
Now, Serena has taken to Instagram to share that she has officially retired as a flight attendant.
Alongside photos of her time flying, she gave a short reflection on her experience working the past five years.
She said, “Flight Attendant Chew no longer reporting for duty… Worked 5 years on the east coast…Traveled to 28 countries…Served over 50,000 cookies & pretzels 🙃…Survived 1 pandemic…It’s been an experience of a lifetime and I can’t wait to come back, hopefully, working in the flight deck ✈️🌎🩶👩🏻✈️”
Serena’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled her comments with words of support and excitement for this next chapter ahead.
Brittany Galvin said, “This is precious…I wish I had the opportunity to have you as a flight attendant😭”
MJ Snyder wrote, “so proud and excited for you❣️❣️”
And Chelsea Vaughn added, “Cheers to new beginnings 🙌🏾”
We couldn’t agree more!
We are so proud of Serena for chasing her dreams and know she’s going to do amazing things. We can’t wait to see Pilot Chew reporting for duty!
