Jared Haibon Starts Sweet Family Tradition with Son Dawson: ‘Went to Our First Movie Together’
Family time!
As Bachelor Nation fans know, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti first met on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.
The two got engaged on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and tied the knot in August 2019.
Since then, they’ve welcomed son Dawson into their lives and welcomed their second son Hayden last year.
Now, Jared has taken to Instagram to share about a sweet family tradition he started with Dawson.
He posted online, “Dawson and I went to our first movie together the other night! Going to our local theater has always been a big part of my life. My family and I used to go all the time and we would bond over movie’s. I’ve always wanted to make a tradition of taking my family to the movie theaters.”
Jared posted sweet photos and videos of them at the movies, having a great time and wearing Sonic-themed merch.
The Bachelor Nation star continued his post, also sharing how their time together at the movies meant a lot to him.
He said, “Dawson is still a little young for most movies (duh) but going to see Sonic 3 with him was pure joy for me. They played the Mission Impossible trailer before the movie and being with Dawson for the first time he saw the biggest movie star on the biggest screen meant a lot to me! He also said he wants to see Superman there which obviously melted my heart.”
One of the videos Jared posted is of him asking Dawson how he liked the movie and if he wants to go again.
He asks, “Yay you like going to the movies with your dad?” To which Dawson replies with a sweet, “Yeah.”
Jared then asks, “Yeah! You wanna go again?” And Dawson answers, “Yeah, again!”
The video ends with a sweet moment when Dawson shares that he wants “mama to come” with them next time.
Fans loved it and filled the comments with things like, “The best father and son movie night in the whole world!!” and “Awww how he was concerned about mama going next time 😍🥺”
So sweet! What a fun family tradition Jared is starting and we can’t wait to see more.
