Sarah Herron Connects with Other Moms About Feeling Overwhelmed: ‘Judgment Free Zone!’
Getting vulnerable.
Bachelor Nation first met Sarah Herron on Season 17 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens for Seasons 1 and 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Sarah found love off-screen with husband Dylan Brown and the two welcomed twin girls Evy and Coco last year.
Since then, Sarah has been keeping followers updated with their new lives as a family of four and learning how to parent twins with her limb difference.
Recently, the Bachelor Nation star opened up on her Instagram Story about feeling overwhelmed and getting “mom rage” over certain things, and asked if anyone else has felt the same way.
She then compiled the most common responses she received of what makes other moms upset, and shared them in a new post online, writing, “Judgment free zone!”
Some of the answers ranged from “Spilling milk you worked sooo hard to make” to “The noise my husband makes when he chews 😂” and “My dog hovering around my feet when I’m doing baby stuff. I feel so guilty yelling 😞”
Sarah shared in the caption of her post about how comforting it was to read the responses and know that she isn’t alone in feeling overwhelmed sometimes.
She said, “Pour one out for the spouses and pets. 🪦To be clear, this is not a husband bashing thread, but I was shocked (and comforted?) to see how many people also struggle with mom rage.”
Sarah then revealed the takeaway she got from reading everyone’s answers and gave a note of encouragement to everyone feeling the same way as her.
She said, “The number one takeaway from reading everyone’s replies (and for anyone reading this post) is that you are not cR@Zy—hormones are!”
She then ended her post with a note that everything is going to be okay.
“So here’s a friendly reminder,” Sarah stated. “Just because you can’t stand the sound of your spouse breathing does not mean your marriage is over. But if you do feel like a single mom even though you aren’t, talking to a professional can help. You got this mama. 💪🏻”
We appreciate Sarah’s vulnerability and know that her sharing her story is going to help others going through a similar journey.
We are sending all our love and support to Sarah, and we’re wishing her family and all the mamas out there our best!
