EXCLUSIVE: Grant Ellis Teases How His Season Ends and Why It’s So Hard to Make Decisions as the Bachelor
Getting candid.
Bachelor Nation fans are watching Grant Ellis look for love on Season 29 of “The Bachelor” and Monday night was his highly anticipated Night 1.
Grant sat down with BachelorNation.com for an exclusive interview about the First Impression Rose, advice he received from Joey Graziadei, how his season ends, and more!
We asked the Bachelor about the moment in the teaser where Jesse Palmer says, “We got both women, they’re here on standby, and of course, I have to know which to send first” on his final day.
Grant opened up about why it was so hard for him to make a decision at the end of the show.
He said, “I’m usually really decisive with decisions, but when it comes to relationships and matters of the heart, there is emotion involved. It becomes harder then. The thing that made it so hard was that these women are great. They are amazing. Having to build a relationship and tear it down in such a short span of time was hard.”
Grant went on, sharing, “Even from Night 1 at that first Rose Ceremony, I had a hard time sending anybody home. So it was hard for me, and that plus the lack of time that we have made it a high-stakes and high-pressure situation. I needed time to think it out.”
We also asked Grant to describe his season for viewers and tease what we can expect.
“This season was a self-growth journey. It helped me grow. The women grew. People in my family grew. I think the llama in the beginning grew. I think it was a growing journey for everybody,” the Bachelor shared.
Check out our full interview with Grant above and make sure to tune in to “The Bachelor” at 8 p.m. on Monday nights on ABC or stream later on Hulu.
