Susie Evans Reveals If It Was ‘Hard’ Seeing Ex Clayton Echard at ‘Bachelor’ Finale

Getting candid.
Bachelor Nation fans saw Susie Evans and Clayton Echard find love on Season 26 of “The Bachelor,” and they moved in together in Virginia after the show.
Susie and Clayton eventually split up but have been continuing to support each other on social media since their breakup.
The two have reunited a few times in the past, and this week, they reunited again at “The Bachelor” season finale.
Both Susie and Clayton were in the audience at Grant Ellis’ finale and Clayton was a part of a panel during the episode.
After the episode, Susie took to her Instagram Stories for a Q&A about the experience on set.
One fan asked her if it was “hard seeing Clayton” at the finale.
Susie kept it real with her answer, saying, “They knew not to seat us too close or a fight would break out.. jk no, it’s truly like seeing an old friend. At one point we looked at each other and were like ‘oh yeah. I forgot this isn’t just all fun.’”

She went on, saying, “Everyone comes in and it’s so fun and exciting and then it got really heavy at the end of the episode... It was crazy being there to watch it, but also know kind of what that feels like.”
Susie shared more about what it feels like to have your real emotions on display for millions of people.
She said, “Like my last slide mentioned, there came a point in the show where I was like, how do we turn this around? How are we going to be happy? But Juliana was so beautiful and bright when she came on stage, the audience went wild for her. It was interesting to see the shift!”
Susie added, “I genuinely was having so much fun until it got really intense and then you remember oh yeah, these are real people, with real emotions and pain. It stopped being fun for a bit. I’ve even been in their shoes, but it’s easy to lose sight that these are real people who have to take all of this back to their real lives and process.”
She shared that she ended up having a blast at her first “AFR” in the audience and it is always great to see her and Clayton on such friendly terms!
