Andi Dorfman Gets Candid About Postpartum Struggles and How Her Marriage with Husband Blaine Has Changed

Former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman Hart married husband Blaine Hart in an intimate ceremony in Sorrento, Italy, in 2023.
Since then, the couple welcomed their daughter Harper last year and Andi has been keeping fans updated with their lives online.
Now, the new mom is opening up about postpartum struggles she’s faced and how her marriage with Blaine has changed since Harper was born.
During a fan Q&A on her Instagram Story, Andi revealed that postpartum has been tougher for her than pregnancy.
She said, “All right, I’m just going to go out on a limb and be honest and say that postpartum has been harder for me than pregnancy… Truly, like, from a physical standpoint, it’s obviously been very hard for me to lose weight. Your hormones are just out of whack.”
Andi continued, “Nobody prepares you for postpartum. There’s so much stuff on pregnancy, but not a lot on postpartum. You’re also navigating all of this while being exhausted while taking care of your child.”
Andi also shared that she feels like this is a common experience among new moms.
“It's a thing. I feel, like, every woman battles something postpartum,” she said. “Whether it’s external, internal, hormonal, or all of it. But, yeah, postpartum is the real hard part about having a baby. I’m going to put it there.”
One fan then asked the Bachelor Nation star if her relationship with Blaine has changed at all since becoming new parents.
“I think the word that comes to mind is partnership,” she replied. “Sometimes you just feel like teammates tagging each other in and out to get it all done… You definitely have to make a concerted effort to spend time with each other and make it not all about the baby. But in doing so, you really do build this cool partnership with someone.”
Andi also revealed that they do plan on having more kids next year, saying, “We’ve always said we wanted three but going to take it one at a time… I want some time this year for us to be with just Harper and to recover, so maybe we’ll start trying at the end of this year or early 2026.”
