Sydney Warner Shares Emotional Update on Her Baby’s Surgery: ‘Time Never Moved Slower’
Sending love.
Fans first met Bachelor Nation star Sydney Hightower Warner on Season 24 of “The Bachelor,” and while things didn’t work out with Peter Weber, Sydney has continued to share her life with fans on social media.
Shortly after her time on “The Bachelor,” Sydney met NFL star Fred Warner, and the two have been inseparable since.
The two got married in 2022 and welcomed their first child, Beau, in March 2024.
Now, Sydney has taken to Instagram to share that Beau recently had to get surgery on one of his tear ducts and gave an emotional update on her Instagram Story.
She wrote, “5am and at the hospital for surgery today on my baby ♥️The past 17 months of Beau’s entire life he has had clogged tear ducts! One eye cleared at around 13 months and then the other, we treated with special drops month after month, prescription after prescription and nothing would help it open so we finally had to make the hard decision to get it opened surgically.”
Sydney continued, sharing a photo of Fred and herself sitting in the waiting room while Beau was in his surgery.
“Time never moved slower,” she observed candidly, “I kept it together the entire time we were at the hospital up until they had to take him back, but I waited to lose it until the OR doors closed. You guys the agony that you feel with not being able to make it better for your baby and completely being out of control of the outcome having leaving your whole entire world in the hands of these doctors is honestly the worst thing in the entire world. I cannot even imagine the pain these babies have to go through. It’s just so unfair to be so little and have to go through something so scary as surgery.”
Sydney then gave an update on Beau’s recovery post-surgery, and shared sweet photos of her holding him.
She wrote, “And just like that, time started moving again and my baby is healthy and can finally have clear eyes! Praise God. Spent two hours in recovery sleeping the anesthesia off and then got the strength to eat some ice chips! Headed home and watched him like a hawk the entire rest of the day. He’s back to 100% himself never been more energetic, & went to chase the chickens with his Yaya. My little superman ♥️.”
We are so glad Beau’s surgery went well, and we’re sending our love to Sydney, Fred, and their entire family as he continues to recover.
