Wells Adams Shares His Vision for the Next Season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
A new “Paradise”?
Bachelor Nation knows Wells Adams as our beloved bartender on “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Viewers just watched him on the highly anticipated Season 10 of “Paradise,” where significant changes took place, such as location, challenges, and the opportunity to win up to $500,000 while also trying to find love.
Fans saw Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley get engaged and walk away with a $190,000 prize during the season finale. Other fan-favorite couple Alexe Godin and Andrew Spencer left the beach together with $125,000 in prize money.
Wells got to experience all the love, drama, and heartbreak firsthand while on the beach. And now, he’s joining the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to reveal his vision for the next season of “BIP.”
Reflecting on this past season, he shared, “A lot of the things that we changed, I didn’t know if it was going to work… But I will say, I’ve done eight seasons now and I was pretty impressed with the fact that so many relationships were this strong this far removed from filming. We did the reunion show and I was like, ‘Wow, a lot of you guys are still together,’ which hasn’t been the case in years past.”
He continued, “So my thought is that all these relationship tests and money and all this kind of stuff, I think it really strengthened the relationships that were working. And then for the other ones, it kind of got rid of them. And I think that going forward, it’s a good kind of way to do the show.”
Wells also shared his thoughts on what could happen with the money aspect moving forward.
He said, “The final test is what do you choose? Is it the money or is it love? And so I think there’s a world in which if you choose money, you don’t get anything because you failed the last test. That obviously didn’t happen, but I could see there being a world where that was the final test that you failed. All that to be said, I don’t think there’s any world in which we do a Season 11 like we did Season 10. I think we’ll have to pivot over to some new thing. We’ll see what that is.”
Wells then shared his vision for the next season of “Paradise,” including keeping some of the existing changes.
“I really liked that all the stuff we kind of put them through made them stronger. I liked that,” he revealed. “I do like the new ideas that we brought in, but I’m still a romantic at heart, so I think I want a combination of the two. I don’t know. I think that a lot of people were angry about the money… I think money helps with moving someone to someone else or them getting an apartment together or whatever it is. So yeah, if we’re trying to do this thing of we would like people to get engaged, I do think that a monetary win helps make that transition easier.”
