Get a Sneak Peek into the Love and Heartbreak Still to Come on ‘The Golden Bachelor’ Season 2!
Grab your popcorn.
Bachelor Nation just watched the premiere of “The Golden Bachelor” Season 2 and met all the remarkable women who are hoping to find their happily ever after with our lead, Mel Owens.
And at the end of the episode, we got a sneak peek into all the love and heartbreak still to come for the rest of the season.
In the teaser, Mel is seen going on multiple dates and kissing the women as he expresses, “Love doesn’t age. That feeling always stays the same.”
The women are also feeling excited as Debbie shares, “Not only is this my second chance to find love but it’s kind of my second chance in life.” And one of the ladies is overheard saying, “We can still find love even when the stereotypes say that we can’t.”
We then get a glimpse into some of the dates we can expect to see this season, such as ATV riding, horseback riding, a group date on the beach, a cozy one-on-one date in a mud bath, and a PJ party with Bachelor Nation stars Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts.
Mel decides to take a leap as he jumps into the pool with the women, fully dressed in their formal outfits. And later, a few of the ladies also “jump” into love as they express their feelings for our Golden Bachelor.
Both Cindy and Cheryl tell Mel they’re falling for him, and Debbie admits that she is “definitely falling in love with” him. Peg chimes in with her thoughts, revealing, “We all like Mel… maybe a little bit too much.”
Things then take a turn as multiple women are seen crying and Nicolle expresses, “Not okay with Mel trying to explore things with other women. He’s mine, he’s going to be mine, so, you know, get out of the way.”
Cindy states that “it’s getting real” and Mel shares his fear that he’ll make a wrong decision. He admits, “These women, they’re powerful, they’re graceful, and they deserve love. You’re hoping that you make the right decision and that you’re not letting your future wife go.”
At the end of the teaser, Mel seems to try to get one of the women back as he sadly tells Jesse Palmer, “Jesse it’s tough, she left,” and Jesse tells him, “I know for a fact she’s still here.”
We then see Mel knock on someone’s door and tell them, “I wish it was you,” before getting a close-up of an engagement ring and Mel confessing, “I don’t know if she’s ready yet, but I hope she is because I’m here and I’m ready.”
We can’t wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds! Make sure to tune in every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. on ABC or stream the next day on Hulu.
