1. A taboo topic I love talking about is: I love talking about aging. Not just the challenges but the beauty of it. Age is just a number, not a mindset. What comes along with that is wisdom, freedom, and even sexiness in getting older. I like to say “mature.” You are never too OLD to learn and grow!!!!
2. I think a celebrity couple that is the definition of #relationshipgoals is: Michelle and Barack Obama.
3. My guilty pleasure is: HOT French fries and a medium-rare cheeseburger with bacon and mushrooms.
4. The best relationship advice I ever received was: Always remember why you fell in love and never go to bed angry. ALWAYS communicate; pray before making any type of decision.
5. My zodiac sign is ___________ and my most [insert zodiac sign] trait would be: Libra. I am a peacemaker, and I look at both sides. I used to be a people pleaser, but I have gotten so much better. I am pleasing GOD. When I don’t want to do something, I say no or I can’t do this right now. Relationships are VERY important to me.
6. My biggest pet peeve is: Smoking/tardiness.
7. My last meal on earth would be: Seafood, of course. Raw or cooked oyster or clam, or oysters Rockefeller. Chopped salad with no onions, whole steamed lobster stuffed with crabmeat, and cowboy rib-eye bone-in medium-rare with saturated mushrooms. A hot baked potato with all the fixings on the side, no scallions, broccoli, and chocolate cake for dessert, and a bottle of Moët nectar or prosecco Lamezia.
8. The song that always makes me want to dance is: “Cuff It” by Beyoncé.
9. My current phone screen saver is: A picture of my three children at my daughter’s medical school in Atlanta MSM graduation.
10. The person that inspires me the most is: Michelle Obama.
11. The movie I’ve rewatched the most is: “Crazy Rich Asians” and “Planes, Trains and Automobiles.”
12. My favorite emoji is: Praying hands and green, purple, yellow hearts, bicycle, and smiley face with a halo.
13. The last thing I Googled is: What to wear at my daughter’s rehearsal dinner for her wedding — it is a Western theme.
14. My favorite part of being on “The Golden Bachelor” was: Meeting all the amazing ladies, and they inspired me as well. I never felt alone. I was not lonely. I felt like CINDERELLA.
15. Being on “The Golden Bachelor” taught me: I give SO much to so many people and now it is truly MY TIME, and I have A LOT more life to live!!!! And it is okay to leave the ones I love to do something for myself. I deserve to have someone to love again. It is okay to say NO, and people will figure it out if you are not around. Let go and let GOD. Manage my expectations and follow the process.
16. My advice for anyone who goes on “The Golden Bachelor” in the future is: Be very open-minded. You are fearless and beautifully made. Don’t second-guess yourself and have fun and get out of your comfort ZONE!!!! This is a once-in-a-lifetime event.
17. If I had to hang out with only three people from Bachelor Nation for the rest of my life, it would be: Carol, Cindy, and Robin.
18. If you go on “The Golden Bachelor,” don’t forget to pack: Lots of color in your wardrobe and lots of resort wear, fun clothes. Show off your body.
19. When Bachelor Nation fans approach me in person and/or online, the first question they ask is: “Why did you do this?” Why NOT?
20. Where do you see yourself in five years? I see myself in a very serious relationship (engaged or married) semi-retired or retired. Living my best life, traveling, visiting my family, friends, and sisters from “The Golden Bachelor.” Have a summer home in Newport, Rhode Island.
