Clare Crawley Documents Her Visit to Mexico for Medical Treatments: ‘It Feels Hopeful’
Sending love.
Former Bachelorette Clare Crawley got engaged to husband Ryan Dawkins in October 2022, shortly after introducing him to Bachelor Nation a month prior.
The two officially tied the knot in 2023 and welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Rowen via surrogate in January 2024.
Clare has been keeping fans updated with her life online and opened up earlier this year about struggling with TSW (topical steroid withdrawal).
Now, she’s taken to Instagram to share about her experience traveling to Mexico for new medical treatments.
In a new video online, Clare documented her visit, saying, “Come with me as I fly to Mexico to get treatment for my TSW.”
The Bachelor Nation star shared she stayed a full week at a facility that uses stem cell treatment to try to heal her condition.
She said, “I’m sure people are like, ‘Why do you have to go all the way to Mexico to take care of your skin?’ But TSW… is not just your skin. It is actually a mitochondrial dysfunction. So it ends up affecting your cells on the deepest level. And at [this facility], they treat you with stem cells, which is amazing.”
Clare opened up more about her experience with TSW and revealed why she decided to try stem cell treatment.
“The brutal truth about TSW is that, right now, there is no pill, no cream, no lotion that can heal this condition. For many, it can take years of pain and uncertainty before finding relief,” she said.
“You all know I’m a person that can’t just sit back and wait for life to pass me by! I want to give my body every chance possible to heal! So I’ve chosen to be proactive and step into something cutting-edge… For me, this means getting to the root of the issue, starting at the cellular level, and saying yes to what feels aligned for MY body. ”
Clare then ended her post with a note of hope and the possible results she could experience.
She expressed, “This is new for me, and I know it can feel controversial to some. But to me, it feels hopeful, it feels promising, and it feels right! And I want to share this journey with you all, not just the outcome, but the process, the learning, and the belief that healing is possible! With that said, this isn’t an immediate fix, so the deep healing should reflect over time. 💓”
We’re sending Clare our love and wishing her all the best on her healing journey. We know that her vulnerability will help so many others going through a similar experience.
