Caila Quinn Considers Getting Her Tubes Tied and Reveals Why Her Doctor Advised Against It
Real talk.
Fans first met Caila Quinn Burrello on Season 20 of The Bachelor, and she later appeared on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise.
While Caila didn’t meet “the one” on the beach, she eventually met her now-husband, Nick Burrello, off-screen. The two tied the knot in May 2021 and later welcomed daughter Teddi in 2023 and son Christian in 2024.
Caila has continued to share life updates online, and earlier this year announced that she and Nick are expecting baby number three!
As she prepares to welcome their baby boy, Caila opened up on social media about a recent OBGYN appointment.
Alongside photos cradling her baby bump, Caila wrote, “Had my 28 week OBGYN appointment today… and told my doctor, ‘I’m 95% sure we are done at 3 kids - should I get my tubes tied during this C-section?’”
Her doctor’s response took her by surprise: “‘No you shouldn’t. Unless you are 120% sure you’re done, then I wouldn’t recommend it honestly. You can’t undo this, so I always want people to be sure, sure.’ I was truly so surprised by her response, because I thought my 95% was enough.”
Caila closed her post with a message to other families who may feel the same way, writing, “Just sharing where we are in our parenthood journey as we are still in the growing phase of our little family ♥️ Any other parents always on ‘the fence’ about one more?”
Fans quickly filled her comments with advice and suggestions, writing things like, “Vasectomy seems way less invasive and reversible!!” and “3/5 friends I know who had vasectomies because they were 100% done reversed it to have more 😅 and one won’t have more JUST because he doesn’t wanna reverse it.”
For now, we’re just excited for Caila’s newest addition and can’t wait to meet her baby boy soon!
