1. A taboo topic I love talking about is: Dating over 60. It’s way more fun than anyone admits. Dating over 60 is like flying first class… you finally get to enjoy the ride without all of the turbulence.

2. My guilty pleasure is: Dark chocolate and online shopping.

3. The best relationship advice I ever received was: Not to be afraid to have the hard conversations… The hard conversations help to build better and deeper connections.

4. My biggest pet peeve is: Noisy eating… Loud chewing and soup slurping really annoy me. I like my romance to make noise, not my food.

5. The first thing I do when I wake up is: Thank God for another day, smile, stretch, and use the restroom.

6. My last meal on earth would be: Cornbread, dressing, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, and peas.

7. The song that always makes me want to dance is: “Happy” by Pharrell.

8. My hidden talent is: I can pack a suitcase for a week in under 10 minutes.

9. My current phone screen saver is: My current screensaver is a picture of me and my grandchildren.

10. The person that inspires me the most is: My mom. She’s shown me how to face tough times with grace and strength, and how trusting God can carry you through the hardest moments. Her faith and resilience taught me that challenges are temporary, but the lessons and love we carry through challenges last forever.

11. The movie I’ve rewatched the most is: I’ve rewatched “Forrest Gump” because it reminds me that life is messy, magical, and worth every moment.

12. The most famous person who I'd love to meet is: As a Black woman, I want to meet Michelle Obama because she shows us how to shine, lead, and stay true to ourselves… all at once.

13. My favorite emoji is: I love the smiley face emoji because it’s my vibe… simple and happy.

14. Being on “The Golden Bachelor” taught me: Being on “Golden Bachelor” has taught me that love is possible at any age. No matter the chapter of life you’re in, your heart can still find connection, joy, and adventure. So live fully, laugh often, learn always, and keep loving.

15. My celebrity crush is: Idris Elba is my celebrity crush. He’s the whole package. Idris is talented, has a twinkle in his eyes, beautiful smile, sexy, that smooth accent, effortless swagger, and his heart for philanthropy makes him so appealing.

16. My advice for anyone who goes on “The Golden Bachelor” in the future is: Not to hold back. You will only regret the things you do not do. I am very reserved and take my time entering situations, especially romantic ones. “The Golden Bachelor” is not a normal situation, so my advice also would be to try and accelerate your game, make the most of your time, be as vulnerable as you can, and express your feelings when you have them. DO NOT think that you have time to express yourself or ask that question later.

17. If I had to hang out with only three people from Bachelor Nation for the rest of my life, it would be: One person I would hang out with is Jesse. My best friend, Gwen, loves Jesse. I would hang out with him to make her happy. I would hang out with Susan and Sandra from “Golden Bachelor” Season 1 also.
