Jess Girod Dishes on New Romance with a Man from London — Hear the Details!

Bachelor Nation fans saw Jess Girod look for love on Season 27 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens for Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Last year, she moved to San Diego, California, and has been keeping fans updated with her life online.
Recently, Jess has gotten back into dating and has taken to social media to dish all about a new romance with a man from London.
In a new video online, she revealed, “I’m going on a date. It’s with a guy that doesn’t even live in this country. That’s how bad American men have been to me that I am now going on a date with someone that literally does not live here.”
Jess went on and shared that she had met her date before but didn’t expect to see him again.
“I have met him before; this is not a first date. But, well, technically it is like the first official date because I’ve only met him in a group setting,” she said. “I met him when I went to London and I honestly didn’t think I would ever see him again, so the fact that he’s in the States right now is crazy.”
The Bachelor Nation star then revealed that she almost didn’t go on the date and last-minute changed her mind.
She confessed, “I literally told him this morning, I was like, ‘I’m not coming.’ And then my roommate was like, ‘Jess, what are you doing? Just go, you keep going back and forth.’ And I was like, ‘Fine, I’ll go.’ Like, why does it scare me?”
Jess ended the video by sharing some more insight into her mindset going into the date.
She said, “The more I think about what kind of drink I’m going to drink tonight, naturally I’m like, ‘Okay, I’ll do wine.’ But I don’t really trust myself with wine, to be honest. I think when I have wine, I’m a little too flirty… Okay, wish me luck!”
Fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments with their excitement for Jess’ date and stated that they need updates on how the date went.
