EXCLUSIVE: Mel Owens & Peg Munson Reveal If They Plan to Get Engaged and Where They’ll Live
Happily ever after!
Bachelor Nation watched Mel Owens search for love on Season 2 of “The Golden Bachelor,” and fans just saw him hand out his final rose.
The finale ended with him giving Peg a ring as a symbol of his commitment, and the two have been enjoying life together ever since.
The happy couple stopped by for an exclusive chat with BachelorNation.com, where they opened up about their future plans, the holidays, a potential engagement, where they’ll live, and more.
When it comes to the commitment ring, Mel shared what it means to him.
He said, “A ring is symbolic of the commitment, but you have to live the commitment and stand by it with your actions. This was our commitment going forward to live our lives the way we want to. Whatever comes after, comes after, we are going to live the way we want to live and it’s going to be fun. The ring is a symbol, but it’s more the way we act towards each other.”
Peg chimed in, saying, “We get to write our own love story. We are in our 60's and we've earned it. The heavy lifting is done. We have the right to write our love story the way we want to and that’s really nice.”
The two also discussed a future engagement and shared that while they’re open to it, they’re in “no rush.”
They said they’re simply looking forward to enjoying this new chapter together and soaking up everything life has to offer.
