Bailey Brown & Jeremy Simon Discuss a Major Misconception About Their Relationship

Bachelor Nation got to know Bailey Taylor Brown on Season 29 of “The Bachelor” and again on Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” where she found love with Jeremy Simon.
Since then, the two have been enjoying traveling and spending time together, as well as keeping followers updated with their lives online.
And now the couple is keeping it real and discussing a major misconception people have about their relationship.
During an interview on the “Dear Shandy Podcast,” Bailey said, “I feel like a big thing is that people think I have really low self-esteem or something. My mom raised me to love myself. Like, both of my parents wanted me to be very confident.”
Jeremy chimed in and revealed the misconception he feels people have about them.
“People think I control her. I’m like, you clearly don’t know Bailey. Because you cannot control this woman,” he said, laughing.
Bailey agreed and added, “My friends laugh about that because… I’m one of those people where I’ll just, I’m quick to cut. I would never do anything that I don’t want to do. Ever.”
The couple also addressed the drama on “Bachelor in Paradise” surrounding Jeremy’s secret phone call to Susie Evans.
Bailey admitted that she didn’t think it was a big issue and shared, “Yeah, it wasn’t that deep. Because I think people acted like he cheated on me, which is crazy. I didn’t really see the phone call as that big of a deal. I think what honestly hurt the most was everyone not telling me and not knowing. I also feel like we had a lot of conversations about that.”
Jeremy also admitted he didn’t remember being as upset as he was in the moment until watching it back.
He revealed, “Watching it back, I was like, ‘Oh, I don’t remember being that heated.’ I was annoyed, but I don’t remember being that heated. So it was weird watching it back. I didn’t think it was that big of a deal.”
We’re glad to see Jeremy and Bailey so happy together, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two.
