Madi Johnson Welcomes First Baby with Fiance Derek Butler: ‘Our Greatest Blessing’

Bachelor Nation fans first met Madison Johnson on Season 27 of “The Bachelor” and she made an impact when she and Zach did the Griddy.
But sparks weren’t flying between Madison and Zach, and he sent her home on Night 1.
In 2023, Madi took to Instagram to reveal that she found love off-screen with boyfriend Derek Butler and last year the two got engaged.
And earlier this year, Madi shared that they are expecting their first baby together and it’s a baby boy.
Now, the Bachelor Nation alum has taken to her Instagram Story to announce their baby boy has finally arrived!
Over a silhouetted picture of Madi holding her baby, she said, “Our greatest blessing entered the world in a less-than-planned fashion, but we are feeling all the blessings of health, rest, and alllll the snuggles with our sweet boy. ♥️”
Madi’s fiance Derek also took to Instagram and shared sweet photos of their new family of three and revealed their baby boy’s name.
He said, “Brooks Loren Butler arrived in a dramatic fashion Nov 23 at 6:29 pm weighing 7 lbs 2 oz💙All of the emotions were experienced during our time here at the hospital, but God surrounded us with the best doctors and personnel out there.”
He then gave an update on Madi and Brooks, expressing their hope to head home soon.
“Baby Brooks and his beautiful mommy are resting and we are hoping to be home tonight or sometime tomorrow,” he said, “We are so excited that our little family is growing, and grateful God has blessed us with our beautiful baby boy! Welcome to the world my handsome baby boy. 💙”
Loved ones and fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments with their love and congratulations, such as Olivia Lewis who wrote, “Congratulations!!!! 😍 what a sweet sweet boy 💙.”
