Juliana Pasquarosa Reveals Where She & Litia Garr Stand and Addresses ‘Ugly’ Fantasy Suite Comments
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Juliana Pasquarosa on Season 29 of “The Bachelor,” where she fell in love with and got engaged to Grant Ellis.
Earlier this year, the two both took to their Instagram pages to confirm they have unfortunately ended their engagement and broken up.
Juliana just spilled on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast about when she knew things weren’t going to work out between her and Grant.
And now, Juliana is also opening up about her current relationship with Litia Garr and addressing “ugly” comments made about her time with Grant in the Fantasy Suite.
With regard to where she stands with Litia, she shared, “Me and Litia’s relationship was pretty complicated from the first-ever FaceTime we had. It was me, her, and Sarafiena, and I had spoken to the other girls and no one had really confirmed or knew how [the season] ended and everyone was treading so lightly and cautiously with me, and I appreciate them all so much for that. And her and I and Sarafiena were doing the same thing. Just kind of catching up. And then, she sprung it on me towards the end of the call that [she knew] how everything ended. And I was totally caught off guard.”
She continued, “I hadn’t even told any of the girls. I hadn’t told Alli Jo. I expressed that I was really, really anxious for the other girls to find out. I didn’t want it to deter our friendships. And she promised me she wouldn’t tell anybody, and she did. She told multiple girls and they called me and said, ‘Litia told me the news...’ and you know, they were all so gracious about it and it’s not about the fact that I didn’t want them to know. It was just I was in such a fragile timeframe right then and I was trying to find the words and also understand everything that I had just been through… It rubbed me the wrong way and it made me upset and it made me a little bit wary of the friendship.”
Juliana went on, expressing, “We continued to have a friendship at arm’s distance and towards the end of things, I was texting her saying, ‘You did great, this can’t be easy, I wish you well.’ I texted her before the live show… and she didn’t answer, and I think that’s when I started to sense that I was unsure of the magnitude of her feelings about it all. And I wasn’t going to intrude myself in her healing process or prevent her or make her feel like she couldn’t speak her truth because we had a relationship. So I thought it was best to kind of withdraw myself and that’s what I did.”
Juliana then addressed the comments Litia made about her Fantasy Suite date, saying, “The one thing that really hurt my feelings the most and was disheartening was when Litia went on a podcast and insinuated things about my sex life and then Zoe chimed in in the comments online to basically confirm that Litia was talking about me to make sure people knew that. I only say that because I think it was such a dagger and it added fuel to this fire of ‘She was the easy choice, he just chose lust over love.’ I think it was so embarrassing for me to deal with that. And I was embarrassed for my family, I was embarrassed for my employer, I was mortified that people who didn’t know me would think that I slept with this man just to get a ring on my finger or to win a reality show.”
She continued, “To bring another woman’s sex life into a public eye conversation when she didn’t hear it from the source and heard it through the grapevine and doubled down on it in the last podcast she did… it’s disheartening. And it’s, I’m not calling her ugly, but it’s ugly behavior. And that’s not the case and that wasn’t the case, and I would just love to put that to bed so that she can stop talking about it and I can stop getting DMs calling me some uncomfortable names because somebody’s out there saying that I’m sleeping around to get a ring.”
