Ali Fedotowsky-Manno Says Goodbye to Family Dog Owen with Emotional Tribute
In our thoughts.
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Ali Fedotowsky-Manno on Season 14 of “The Bachelor,” and again when she returned to our screens for Season 6 of “The Bachelorette” as the leading lady.
Since her time on the shows, Ali married her husband Kevin Manno in 2017 and gave birth to their two kids, Molly and Riley.
Ali has been keeping fans updated with her life online and shared last year that their family dog Owen had been struggling with seizures and a brain tumor.
The Bachelor Nation star revealed later on that Owen had finished his radiation therapy and was steadily improving.
However, over the weekend, Ali took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news that Owen recently passed away.
In a tribute post online, she expressed, “We said goodbye to our sweet boy today. We’re too shattered to say more right now. We love you so much, Owen. We will never be the same without you ❤️”
Ali posted beautiful family photos with Owen and opened up more about this heartbreaking loss.
She said, “This pain is unbearable. If you’ve experienced this kind of loss, how did you survive it? I can’t function. I can’t stop sobbing or replaying all the moments where I should have made more time for him over the last month. I am completely gutted. I’ve never known pain like this. How do you move through it?”
Ali’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments with their love and condolences for the Manno family.
Kaitlyn Bristowe wrote, “I’m sick to my tummy for you. We have talked so much about the level of love we have for our babies. I am so sorry.” Jade Roper Tolbert said, “Aw, I am so sorry, Ali. Dogs deserve to live forever 😢❤️”
Trista Sutter also added, “I am so incredibly sorry. It is such a horrible pain and my heart goes out to you and your family. Sending a big virtual hug. 😢 💔 😢” And Molly Mesnick shared, “Oh Ali - I am so so sorry. Thinking of you all ❤️”
We are sending Ali and her family all our love, and we’re keeping both Ali and Owen in our thoughts during this difficult time.
