Bachelor Nation stars Anna Redman and Chris Bukowski hard-launched their relationship on social media in 2022.
Fans first met Anna on Season 25 of “The Bachelor,” and she later appeared on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.” Chris appeared on Season 8 of “The Bachelorette,” Season 3 of “Bachelor Pad,” and Seasons 1, 2, and 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
While both have been on multiple Bachelor Nation shows, the pair actually found love off-screen and currently live together in Chicago, Illinois.
After nearly four years together, the couple officially got engaged on New Year's Eve!
Now, Anna is opening up more about Chris’ surprise proposal and sharing details from that dreamy day.
Alongside unseen engagement photos, Anna confessed, “I may be crazy but I gave [Chris] ZERO direction because in my mind I wanted this moment to come 100% from him. And he killed it.”
The Bachelor Nation star then revealed the heartfelt details Chris included in the proposal and why it makes her “want to cry.”
She wrote, “From this insane antique diamond and engraved band from @andriabarbonejewelry (a site I spent HOURS ON and never told him), to a custom music box playing our Billy Swan song, in the location that’s special to both of us, - I literally want to cry thinking about all the detail he put into this moment 🥹.”
Anna also admitted that the engagement was a complete surprise, as she thought they were going to Costa Rica for a New Year’s Eve celebration.
“If you want the details on how he surprised me: we had plans to go to Costa Rica a couple days early before my family vacation,” she shared, “and he said he got us tickets to a NYE celebration starting at sunset (he is always booking us fun experiences so I didn’t even think twice) only to show up to the most dreamy proposal with the NYE celebrations starting after ((he knows I’d never skip a party haha)).”
Chris commented on the post, hinting at possible wedding plans with, “That ring was made for YOU. I fell in love with the process knowing you’d love it the whole time. I wonder if Billy Swan has one more wedding in him.”
