Alexis Waters Auditions for Her First Role in a Film: ‘The Year of Yes!’

Bachelor Nation fans first met Alexis Waters on Season 21 of “The Bachelor” and she returned for Season 4 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the Bachelor Nation shows, Alexis found love off-screen with her longtime partner Tyler Fernandez.
The two began dating in 2018, and officially tied the knot in Las Vegas earlier last year.
Alexis loves to keep fans updated with her life online, and recently, she took to social media to share some exciting news.
In a new video online, the Bachelor Nation star revealed that she officially auditioned for her first role in a film.
She shared, “Auditioning for my first ever small role in a film…The year of yes!!!!!!”
Alexis went on, detailing more about her decision and why she wanted to start auditioning.
She said, “I have no idea what I’m doing but this is the year I’m not overthinking anything and I’m just going [for it]… We’re gonna do it and… you never know what could happen. So, here we go! My name’s Barb and this is the year of saying yes.”
Alexis then posted an update video shortly after submitting her first audition tape and shared a funny tidbit about the process.
“I just did my first ever audition tape for a role, and my husband was the other character and now he thinks that he’s an actor,” she teased, “I’m like, 'I don’t think that’s how it works buddy. I’m not even one.'”
In the video, Alexis asks Tyler how he thinks she did and he responds, “Great!” She then asks him how he thought he did, and Tyler replies, “Amazing.”
Followers filled the comments with love and excitement for this next chapter, such as one person who wrote, “I’m sat for this,” and another who wrote, “So amazing!!! 🔥🔥 Get it!!!”
We are so proud of Alexis for trying out new opportunities and going after what she wants. We can’t wait to find out what happens — we’re crossing our fingers for her!
