Maria Georgas Reveals How Being ‘Fumbled’ Led Her to Go on ‘The Bachelor’
Spilling the tea.
Bachelor Nation got to know Maria Georgas as she looked for love on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
Since her time on the show, the Bachelor Nation star has been keeping fans updated with her life online.
This week, Maria took to social media to discuss how being “fumbled” led her to eventually go on “The Bachelor.”
In a new video, Maria responded to a fan’s comment that said, “fumble of the YEAR” on a previous video of her explaining how she accidentally told actor Evan Peters to not text her.
She replied, “Since we’re on the topic of fumbling, I truly think that in life you should fumble. And be fumbled, because it leads you to grow. And it leads you to experience things that gets you out of your comfort zone and do things that you probably wouldn’t have done if you were constantly getting what you wanted.”
Maria then went on to reveal how that mindset encouraged her to go on “The Bachelor.”
“Like, if the guy that I was so, so head over heels for, like if it’d worked out, I wouldn’t have gone on the show,” she said. “I was so in it, but then he fumbled me, and that led me to experience what I experienced. So I truly think at the end of the day when it’s all said and done, fumble. Be fumbled.”
The Bachelor Nation star then joked with her followers, teasing, “You’ve got to be a little bit more grateful for the fumble because you guys wouldn’t have gotten the story time. And there’s way more where that came from. I wanna live in a world where I believe that when one door closes, another door opens. Because that’s usually how it happens for me. I’ve been grateful for that, so it’s a win-win.”
People filled the comments with their reactions, such as, “I’m so early… but let me tell you… I think you need to be on another reality TV show. You are made for TV!!!!!”
Another person said, “Queen just single handedly rebranded fumble im obsessed,” to which Maria replied, “You know what hell ya🤣”
We love catching up with Maria and hearing the story of how she went on to the show. We also love her rebrand of the word “fumble” — what a good mindset to have!
