Kaity Biggar Opens Up About Hard Parts of Nursing: ‘I’m Not As Happy’

Bachelor Nation fans got to watch fan-favorite couple Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross fall in love and get engaged on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”
Since then, the two have been enjoying their lives together in Austin, Texas, with their dog Honey and officially tied the knot with a Bachelor Nation exclusive wedding video last year.
If you’ve been keeping up with Kaity since Season 27, you know that she was a nurse before going on “The Bachelor” and went right back to work at the hospital after coming off the show.
Kaity is still a full-time nurse and loves to keep followers updated with her experience online.
This week however, the Bachelor Nation star took to her Instagram Story to open up about her career and revealed that she’s “not as happy” as she once was.
While catching up with fans, Kaity got candid about whether she still enjoys being a nurse.
She wrote, “Full transparency, it’s a hard job. I don’t get a break, on my feet for 13 hrs, early mornings, understaffed, taken advantage of, emotionally and physically taxing (I could go on).”
Kaity went on, “There are moments and things I do love about the profession but right now the negatives might be outweighing the positives. So, I need to ask myself if it’s really where I wanna be in the next 2-3 yrs.”
The Bachelor Nation star then opened up and admitted that she no longer enjoys the work like she used to. “I used to love going into work but I’ll be honest I’m not as happy as I once was.”
